How much sand and cement to render a wall?
It depends on area and thickness. A 30 square metre wall at 15mm needs roughly half a cubic metre of render, which this tool splits into bags and tonnes.
What mix is used for render?
A common sand and cement render is 1 part cement to 4 parts sand, sometimes with lime added for workability. This tool uses 1 to 4.
How thick should render be?
A two coat sand and cement render is usually 15 to 20mm total. Check the system you are using.
